An article titled “Useful Products from Waste: The ‘Ekomatpro’ Environmental Initiative” written by Abdullayev Lazizbek, a student of the Biotechnology program at the International Institute of Food Technology and Engineering, was published in the April 2, 2026 issue of the “Jamiyat” newspaper.
Currently, under the scientific supervision of Associate Professor Sh. Akramov of the Department of Food Technology and Engineering, Lazizbek is conducting research on improving technologies for producing environmentally friendly textile products through the recycling of household plastic waste.
These scientific studies aim to reduce environmental problems and promote effective waste recycling into useful products.
